The SCORE system detects biomolecular interactions by measuring the change in optical thickness on the array surface. The signal intensity correlates with the total amount of accumulated molecules. The SCORE system converts this signal intensity change into a binding signal, the so-called binding curve. From these curves the kinetic parameters like KD kass or kdiss can be determined. SCORE is image-based, which means that the whole measurement can be visualized as a video or a specific part of it as a picture.

Within an hour, one single SCORE device can analyze up to 5000 binding interactions in parallel by using only a minimum amount of analyte. SCORE’s throughput is thus a lot higher than any system currently on the market.
With our SCORE technology, thousands of binding characteristics can be analyzed in one measurement. In this way, we can analyze the binding behavior between thousands of different pHLA complexes and one specific T cell receptor. As a result, this provides a good indication of whether they can be used in the desired immunotherapy or whether are there still safety concerns.
